Past Events
During a recent outreach trip, Feb 2026. United Shores had the privilege of visiting Casa Hogar Para Invidentes, an inspiring sanctuary dedicated to caring for blind children in Mexico City, Mexico. While the home typically serves young girls, they also welcomed a young boy who was lovingly taken in after being left in their care as a toddler.
Thanks to the generosity of our community, we were able to deliver a 6-month supply of essential food and daily necessities-including grains, oils, and core supplies-ensuring these wonderful children and their dedicated caregivers have the sustained nourishment they need to thrive.
Moments like this remind us why we do what we do: turning compassion into tangible, lasting support.
Reflecting on my experience in Mexico City and the incredible resilient spirit of the Children at Casa Hogar.
